A perfectly paced introduction to Kenya for first-time safari-goers. In six days you will experience the diversity of Kenyan wildlife across three distinct ecosystems — the dry semi-arid north at Samburu, the Rift Valley lakes, and the legendary Masai Mara. Our experienced guides ensure you see and understand as much as possible within a compact timeframe.
Arrive in Nairobi and fly or drive to Samburu National Reserve. Check in to camp and enjoy an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Ng'iro River.
Full day in Samburu with morning and sunset game drives. Look for the Northern Specials — species found nowhere else in Kenya — and the large elephant herds that congregate along the river.
Fly south to Lake Nakuru. Afternoon game drive in the national park, famous for its flamingos, rhino sanctuary, and tree-climbing lions. Overnight at lakeside lodge.
Transfer west to the Masai Mara. Arrive in time for an evening game drive across the open plains. Check in to your tented camp overlooking the savannah.
Full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The Mara offers year-round exceptional game viewing — predator sightings, elephant herds, and vast plains teeming with resident wildlife.
Morning game drive then fly back to Nairobi for your international connection. Optional half-day city tour of Nairobi if your flight allows.
